Car Talk at the Walk Cebu

From American muscled cars to European vintages and exotics, car enthusiasts and spectators witnessed this jaw dropping event that crowded The Walk open field. The event opened with a parade of sport cars mostly Corvettes and Camarros that rumbled the streets of AsiaTown. Photographers participating on the photography contest poured their flashes on the glossy and expensively painted exteriors of these beautiful machines. Among the displays, I’d say that the Ferrari Modena 360 was the star of the show as people squeezed into the crowd as if to get a glimpse of some famous Artist. Japanese cars as well didn’t fail to show off their goodies. Below are some cars I’ve identified.

American Cars: 1965 Cobra, 1979 Pontiac, 1987 Chevrolet Camararo, 1995 Ford Mustang Convertible

European Cars: 1991 Rover Mini Cooper, 1991 Porche 911 Convertible, 1996 Porsche 993 Cabriolet Convertible, 1998 BMW Coupe, 2001 Ferrari Modena 360, Beetle, Mercedes Smart

Japanese Cars: Nissan Datsun 280ZX, 1991 Mitsubishi 3000 GT, 2nd Gen Eclipse

There was the 1999 Jeep TJ Wrangler, motorcycles etc.

farewell . . . Man from Manila!

I was a francisM fan during my grade 5 to early hi-school days (Before I went crazy on the eraserheads and metallica). I recorded his songs played on the radio using our cassete recorder and play it over and over just to completely write Francis' rhythmic american poetry (RAP) lyrics. My baon back then was only 20pesos, so I could hardly buy songhits and his album. Internet wasn't born yet, but nevertheless, I was able to master his songs and did Rappin and RunningMan moves during Christmas Parties and other school presentations.

Goodbye Master Rapper!!! May you continue Rapping with the Angels...char!

After the storm

Our planned outing to Alegria Cebu wasn't expected to push through since there was a storm signal# 1. It was cold, windy, and drizzling. The bus trips were not canceled anyways so we still head on hoping that day 2 of our two day escapade would be a fine one. Indeed, I took this picture the following day. It was sunny, the sea is enticing for swimming, and a lot of fish can be bought for our sugba2x. This is one great day!

No work on Sats

My previous company has work on Saturdays and I have been living this lifestyle for 8 long years! Sunday was then a very long day for me, savoring every hour and every minute of no work. Whew! I felt relieved right now to be working only upto Friday with my new company. I can now fully enjoy my 2 day weekend spent on traveling and other gimicks.
